Requisitos de Ingreso.
Para ingresar en el programa de posgrado de DCC, la persona aspirante deberá cumplir al momento de la inscripción con los requisitos establecidos en el Reglamento de Estudios de Posgrado del IPN (REP-IPN), capítulo I, artículos 8, 10, 11 y 12. Los requisitos son los siguientes:
1. Poseer título o certificado oficial de terminación de estudios de licenciatura, o documento equivalente para aspirantes que hayan realizado estudios en el extranjero.
2. Poseer, en su caso, el grado o el acta de examen de grado de maestría.
3. Aprobar el proceso de admisión establecido en esta convocatoria, demostrando capacidad para continuar sus estudios en el nivel de doctorado, al alcanzar el puntaje mínimo establecido por la Comisión de Admisión para este proceso, así como la defensa de la presentación de la propuesta de investigación para estudios doctorales.
4. Acreditar con una calificación mínima de ocho o equivalente, el nivel de conocimiento del idioma inglés en cuatro habilidades del idioma inglés tomando como criterio base el nivel B1 del marco común europeo de referencia para las lenguas, conforme a lo establecido en el artículo 8, fracción VI y su último párrafo, y el acuerdo del Colegio de Profesores del Centro de Investigación en Computación correspondiente.
5. No haber causado baja definitiva en algún programa de posgrado del Instituto, por resolución fundada y motivada del Colegio Académico de Posgrado del IPN, salvo que ésta le haya sido revocada por dicho cuerpo colegiado. (Art. 8 Frac. V REP).
6. Manifestar a través de la carta de motivos, el interés que posee por ingresar a los estudios doctorales y por desarrollar su trabajo de investigación en alguna de las líneas que promueve el Centro de Investigación en Computación.

The PhD in Computer Science will have developed during his training process, critical capacity, aptitudes and abilities to solve problems that support and promote the general advancement of knowledge, that respond to the needs of the industry and the public and social sectors, both nationally and internationally. By applying, the knowledge acquired and skills developed in their doctoral work, the graduates in PhD in Computer Science will be able to promote scientific and technological research, carrying out basic and/or applied research projects.

The requirements are as follows:
1. Possess an official degree or certificate of completion of bachelor's studies, or an equivalent document for applicants who have studied abroad.
2. Possess, when appropriate, the master’s degree certificate or the master’s degree examination certificate.
3. Approve the admission process established in this call, demonstrating the ability to continue their studies at the doctoral level, by reaching the minimum score established by the Admission Committee for this process, as well as defending the presentation of the research proposal for doctoral studies.
4. Accredit with a minimum grade of eight or equivalent, the level of knowledge of the English language in four English language skills. Taking as a base criterion level B1 of the common European framework of reference for languages, in accordance with the provisions of article 8, section VI and its last paragraph of the REP and the agreement of the College of Professors of the Computing Research Center.
5. Not having caused a permanent withdrawn from any postgraduate program of the IPN, by a well-founded and motivated resolution of the Academic Board, unless said collegiate body has revoked it. (Art. 8 Frac. V REP)
6. Express through the Motivation Letter, the interest you have in entering doctoral studies and in developing your research work in one of the lines promoted by the Computer Research Center.
